✨Ever walked out of a school tour thinking, “This feels more like programming than education”?✨ That was me this month. Visiting schools with my child, hearing the buzzwords; individuality, inclusion, critical thinking; but wondering… are those just words, or are they truly being lived? 😜 Some schools spoke about personal growth; but the vibe felt more like uniformity over authenticity. Others highlighted values like diversity; yet the messaging in the classroom felt one-sided, even scripted. And it struck me how education can do one of two things: It can separate us, by rewarding sameness, silencing different viewpoints, or pushing everyone into the same box. Or it can unify, by honouring each child’s unique strengths and encouraging open, critical thinking. 🫶🏻 It’s made me look past the glossy brochures and ask:
